16 Ton Congratulates Our Artists’ Latest Successes

So much to talk about today in the world of 16 Ton Recording Studios. First off, we would like to thank everyone who attended for making the 5th Annual 16 Ton Christmas Party a roaring success! Friends and family of the studio from all around Nashville and beyond came to enjoy some holiday cheer, and it was a great time! Thanks are also in order to Cadillac Ranch for catering with great barbecue, and to Digital Rodeo for supplying the drinks. Next, 16 Ton Studios would like to send our major congratulations to Rachel Timberlake for making a splash on CMT with her 16 Ton recorded song “Honky Tonk Queen”!! We really enjoyed recording that project, and look forward to working with Rachel in the future, wishing her continued success! It is always great to work with up and coming artists on the Nashville recording scene, and especially fun to see their projects on CMT!!!
Also, major congrats are in order to Howard Livingston and Mile Marker 24 for their incredible success on the 16 Ton recorded album “I’m Living On An Island”, which has been honored with several awards at the Trop Rock Music Awards, including Trop Rock Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for the title track!!! Howard and his band also won Band of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year!!! We couldn’t be more proud of Howard and Mile Marker 24 for this amazing accomplishment! The staff here at 16 Ton very much enjoyed working on this fantastic album, and look forward to having Howard and his band back in the studio soon.
